2019/2020 Waipipi Wind Farm – Waverley South Taranaki. Drillco partnered with ElectroNet on this Tilt Renewables greenfield project to deliver 23,000 meters of electrical reticulation between 22 newly installed Wind Turbines. The project ran over approx. 9 months and included a purpose-built cable delivery system. Drillco provided project management, trench excavation, trefoil cable and fibre install and backfill. This project posed a number of challenges that required careful planning, collaboration and communication. Excavating in sand and wet conditions, on a large-scale construction site with a number of other contractors. Drillco thoroughly enjoyed delivering a successful and professional project for ElectroNet in record time.
