2021 Ohakea Water Scheme approx. 14,000 metres. Drillco partnered with the Manawatu District Council to deliver this project on rural roads and the State Highway to the South of the Ohakea Air Base. The team delivered this project over approx. 3 months. Drillco provided the Project Management, Traffic, Location Detection, Pipe welding, Hydro Excavation, Directional Drilling, Pipe Install and Reinstatement. Working alongside contractors delivering other projects means we have to have great communication, excellent planning and a high level of attention to detail. This project posed a number of challenges crossing culverts and streams. The entire Drillco team has thoroughly enjoyed working with MDC on this successful project.
