2018 Electrical Network Upgrade – New Plymouth
Drillco was chosen to deliver the Network upgrade in partnership with Powerco.
The project ran over approx. 4 months and was successfully delivered in all aspects.
Drillco provided Traffic, Utility detection, Project management, Excavation, pipe installation, backfill and reinstatement.
This was a challenging and rewarding project to deliver across New Plymouth.
- Supply and installation of ducts as per Carrington-Moturoa 33kV Cable - Option 1 (Drawing RZ033000-EEE-DG-0102 ) from a point in Carrington Street approx opposite the TSB Bank, to the intersection of Carrington and Huatoki Streets
- Supply and installation of ducts as per Carrington-Moturoa 33kV Cable - Option 2 (Drawing RZ033000-EEE-DG-0103 ) extending the easternmost set of the ducts above, to the intersection of Tukapa St and Borrell Av, via Carrington St/Parsons St/Glenpark Av/Frankley Rd/Clawton St, and Tukapa St
- Supply and installation of ducts as per Carrington-Moturoa 33kV Cable - Option 2 (Drawing RZ033000-EEE-DG-0103 ) extending the westernmost set of the ducts above, to the intersection of Tukapa St and Borrell Av, via Huatoki St/Brois St/Waimea St and Tukapa St
